St. George - Day 2

Treasure Island

In one of the Casinos
We walked in and Gabi said, "Wow, look at all these arcades!" (I love innocent children)

Buffet at the Mirage

Diego enjoyed his meal!

Today was filled with Pool, Tennis and Vegas. This was our first time seeing "the strip". It was obvious. We thought we were on it down by the stratosphere. So we parked down there and began walking. We walked and walked and walked. I felt like a pioneer. I think the pioneers had slightly different scenery than we did. We were constantly redirecting the kids' focus from crazy billboards and trucks with inappropriate pictures. After an hour of walking we got to Treasure Island which is just the beginning of the strip. The kids loved all the pirate stuff. We ate dinner at the Mirage (right next to Treasure Island) mainly because we couldn't walk any further. It was soooo yummy! It was a buffet and I was in heaven because there was crab legs and shrimp!! We decided to head back to the car and drive the rest of the strip. It was amazing. Next time we go I want to go without the kids, do the bigshot and watch the fountains at the Bellagio. Next time we'll know a little more what we are doing!

An hour walk before you hit the strip - BRUTAL! You don't realize how bad things are until you go with kids and their all-seeing eyes. Pioneers in Vegas indeed! :)

Yae! No longer Vegas virgins. I love Las Vegas, so much to do. Glad you had a great time.
