Our family decided to participate in the Disneyland Give a Day Get a Day Program. Disneyland is giving out 1 million tickets this year to promote volunteerism. There were many different ways to volunteer. We chose to do the Haiti Care kits. Each of us needed to complete 10 kits. So we sent out emails, the kids took flyers to classmates and friends and we sent out a message on facebook for donations. It was amazing what a great response we had. We are surrounded by such giving people. I feel so blessed. Within 2 days we had recieved everything!!! Monday night for family night we talked about being prepared physically and spiritually for anything that might happen and we did some earthquake drills. Then we put together the kits. It was the BEST experience for our family! And we got 4 disneyland tickets out of the whole thing.

What an awesome activity!!! I think it's awesome to instill that "volunteering" spirit in the kids! I love you guys!!
ps. Can you tell Esteban I need my future read by his crystal ball head? Dang that thing is shiny!! hehehe
Nice!!! You guys did this so fast. It will be so fun for you guys and a great experience and memory for later.
