Gabi's 10th Birthday!!!

 

Gabriela is 10!!! I can't believe it. Time seems to go faster and faster. Gabi decided that she wanted to invite all her older cousins to her birthday. So we went to the discovery gateway then came home and had pizza cake and ice cream and watched Planet 51. It is somewhat hard to entertain kids ranging from 5-16. The older kids were great sports though. Gabi had a GREAT time. This morning she was completely surprised with hamsters!!! First we had her open the wood shavings for the bottom of the cage and she thought it was for her zhu zhu pet. Then she opened the balls for the hamsters to roll in and started to get excited. When she opened the food she knew for sure. That is when Esteban brought up the cage. She was sooooo excited...well they all were. We put one of them in the ball and man...that little guy halls around the house. He runs into a wall and just turns around and goes the other way. They defintitely are a hit! It is fun to see the kids all so excited.
Gabi requested pancakes with pina colada syrup and bacon for breakfast. So that is what she got. It was pretty hard to get the kids focused on getting ready for school with all the excitement. We have a fun rest of the day planned. We are going to lunch at Gabi's school and then to Olive Garden for dinner. So...I think she did pretty good!!!
