Fishing with Dad

This is our "mess" of fish.

Saturday November 6, 2010
Yesterday my dad took me fishing on the Weber river. I haven't been one of the hunting, fishing, outdoorsy types that my parents tried to raise. I guess I am the black sheep of my family. I liked to stay home and cross stitch, write in my journal and I would Never kill anything. Plus I don't like to be out in the cold. Well, I haven't changed much. My dad asked me to go fishing and to be honest I wasn't to excited about it, but it sounded nice to go hang out with him. My mom volunteered to watch the kids because Esteban was coaching Gabi's practice.
Well, it turns out that I had a great time! It was a little colder than I am comfortable with. My cute dad did all the hard work. He baited the worm, unhooked the fish and cleaned them. I caught eight fish! My dad has been fishing his whole life and it is so obvious. I swear he knows exactly how the fish think. He would tell me just to move my pole a bit or let the line out a little and immediately the fish would bite. It was cool to see him so in his element. Thanks for the great time dad and letting me do all the fun part! You're the best!

that is great Aim! I am glad you had a fun time with your dad. We still need them around, even at our "old " age.
