Just Spicin' up Church!

My sister in law told me she would blog this story if I did not so I better do it and get the completely accurate story out. If any of you are in need of a laugh...here you go: So yesterday I was walking into church with Gabi Diego and Kylie. Matt Clark in our ward was walking in behind me. Kylie threw a fit so I picked her up and she slid right along the knot on my wrap around skirt. Yeah...you can guess what happened next. The knot came out and the skirt went down! Now I am sure you are thinking...did you have on a slip? That's a big NO! I was standing there in my shirt, garments and high heels! I grabbed my skirt off the floor, but with Klyie in my arms I was only able to hold it over about 1/4 of my body. Matt is less active and the first thing that came to my mind was, "You're going to start coming to church more often now, right?" There were a couple more men from the other ward that saw the whole thing and one of them said to a lady, "We need some cover over there" So the lady came over and covered my backside while Gabi helped in the front and we all shimmied to the bathroom. I think I can go innactive and be justified in heaven for it. So if anyone can top that I'd love to here about it so I can feel a little bit better about myself!

Oh Amy! That is so funny. One time I was walking across North Temple to go on a session and a kind gentleman pointed out that I had tucked the back of my skirt into my underwear and was walking around downtown Salt Lake showing everybody. It was so humiliating! I'm glad I'm not the only one who walks around in her underwear!

I also had an embarassing story at church. I went to leave during sacrament and as I turned around the pew someone had put a box there. Well, you can guess what happened. I biffed it and as the bishop was at the pulpit talking, he watches me fall and asks(into the microphone), "Are you ok?" Every head in that room turned to look at me. I just got up and walked out like nothing happened. It was so bad!

That will be a hard one to top Amy! Seriously, this is so sad... but SO FREAKIN' FUNNY! I immediately told Dave and his sis. Sarah (who was at home) we were all laughing. I think that totally made my day go by so much easier... and I was happy to be wearing my tight pants on, that I KNEW would not be falling off anytime soon, rather cutting off the circulation to my feet!

SO BLOGGABLE!

I still can't believe this happened. Makes me laugh every time I hear it, tell it or read about it. I'm just glad it was you and not me. :)

I think I will never go slip-less again thanks to this story! And thanks for having the guts to share it.

Wow! I don't think I've heard anything to top that one. That is awesome! I've often wondered when I've forgotten my slip...
At least the people in your ward are supportive ha ha!
