This morning Grandpa, Mason, Ellie and I went fishing up at Farmington pond. It the funnest fishing trip. We had all our poles in the water and grandpa was teaching Mason how to rig his pole when all of a sudden a pole is yanked into the water. Within a second it was ten feet out and continuing to be pulled further. My dad pulled out his wallet and dove into the lake and somehow grabbed a hold of it. I was laughing so hard. There was a huge catfish on the other end and Mason pulled it in. The funny thing was that 20 minutes later the exact same thing happened again and my dad dove in again! We waited all the poles down after that. We caught 2 beautiful fish and had a great story to go along with both of them :)
After that we picked up Kylie, Gabi, Diego, Madi, Hayden and Porter and fished down at ponds park for a while. Everyone caught fish down there but they were very little. My dad saw that I enjoyed the fishing so much that he bought Esteban and I both a fishing license and got us each a pole so we can go whenever we want.
That evening we had a BBQ at my parents. My dad also cooked up the catfish we caught in the morning. It was pretty yummy!

We have NEVER fished before... but its this adventurous we might just have to do it :)
How fun! Although if Joel were there he'd be disgusted because he loathes catfish! I bet Mason is so proud! Gianluca is in school now, so the only time to go to the lake would have to be a Saturday. Let me know what you think.
