I am doing a recap of the month of May today.
Mason was baptized by Esteban May 8th, 2010. What an awesome day it turned out to be. The weather was the best day we'd had so far this year. I had a 20 mile run this morning, but decided to cut it short and finish after the baptism as I was thinking of all that needed to be done before 1:45. (Talk preparation, house cleaned, yard cleaned, clothes ironed...etc.) I began to stress and stopped at 12 miles. Everything went very smooth and we made it to the baptism with time to spare.
Mason was baptized with his friend Cade which was so great because they are such good friends. Our family all came to support. The cousins sang the baptism song and even though you couldn't hear any of it, it was real cute. The spirit was so strong. I am so happy that Mason made this wonderful step in his life and once again I can't believe my Mason is 8. Time goes way too fast. Afterward we had a great family get together in the backyard. The day couldn't have gone more perfect and I even found some time to squeeze in my last 8 miles!

It was a great day! Mason is such a cute kid! And yeah, Lau, I'm not exactly loving the unflattering picture of me either - food in my cheek, eyes half closed, pregnant belly looking fat & awkward... Oh well, what do you do? That's me enjoying the party, cute or not! :)
