This morning we went and took a tour of the USS Midway. Wow! It was really amazing! The sleeping quarters really shocked me. I will not complain about a queen size bed anymore!:) Theses were half the size of a twin with about 2 feet above your head. The tour was neat because we wore these headphones and as you went from place to place you punched in the number of wherever you were and that info would be heard in the headphones. We had a great time on the tour.
Afterwards we went over to Coronado Island. What a great place. It is less than 10 minutes from the house and I can't believe we haven't been over there before this. This beach blows mission beach away! We played at the beach for most of the afternoon. They had an area where there were a bunch of rocks and you could look through all the tide pools in them. We saw tons of crabs, sea anenome, hermit crabs and clams. We took on a LOT of sun today!
I packed all my workout clothes so I could run and as much as I didn't feel like it I changed and ran 4 miles along the beach and another one up in town. It was such a hot day and I couldn't handle much more than that. I signed up for the Top of Utah marathon in a month do do with Jen so I better whip my bum back into shape in the next 30 days.
