Just getting home from the race
Jen, Tara and I relieved to be done!
This was my third year on the bairgutsman. I planned to train on the mountain at least 4 or 5 times before today, but I didn't end up making it to the trailhead once! My marathon training kicked in a little more than I expected though and I beat my last years time by 21 minutes! I was so happy about that. Mercedes watched the kids for us so Esteban could run the aid station at the top. It is so nice to know that he is waiting for me as I am in pain. It is something Jen and I can look forward to that no one else on the race can. Jen did so great also! She came in 5 minutes after I did. What a fun race! Tara, Brian, Porter and Hayden ran it this year also. It was amazing how great those little boys did!

You are the only girl that I have ever seen run through HELL and still have curls in her hair.
That's what I was going to ask, how does your hair look so good after running??? Not fair.
